That’s right, Poe’s Tavern has been serving up our juicy, house-ground burgers, fresh, hand-cut french fries and the best fish tacos around for 10 years!
On April 24th, 2003 Poe’s Tavern opened its doors on Sullivan’s Island and welcomed a packed house. Much like that first night, Poe’s continues to be a place bustling with hungry beach goers. Over the years, Poe’s has grown into a staple for locals and tourist alike. About 80% of the menu has remained in the original state and many of the first items to come out of the kitchen are still being ordered today.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our fans and frequent guests, without you, this milestone could have never been attained. We would also like to thank the staff of Poe’s Tavern- many of whom have been with us for 5 or more of the 10 years. Without your hard work and ability to maintain a positive attitude, our frequent guests would not be as such.
We are so proud to have been a part of the Sullivan’s Island community, serving exceptional quality food in a friendly, inviting atmosphere for 10 years and look forward to serving you 10 more.
